Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Organizational culture significantly influences employee performance by shaping behavior, attitudes, and work environments. In Dambatta Local Government Area, Kano State, many organizations face challenges in maintaining a culture that supports employee performance and productivity. Research suggests that strategic communication enhances cultural alignment, motivation, and overall performance (Ahmed & Bello, 2024). This study explores the role of corporate communication in shaping organizational culture and its impact on employee performance.

Despite the importance of organizational culture, many organizations in Dambatta struggle with misaligned values, low morale, and poor performance.
